The Social Innovators Table(SIT) is a networking program that enables social
innovators, who make innovations in their respective fields, to come together and
freely exchange their ideas and experiences.
The SIT conference consists of presentations, conversations and debates.
Entrepreneurs, activists and investors share social innovation cases and processes,
as well as discuss new plans that address social issues. Furthermore, SIT encourages
particiapants to collaborate and develop innovative projects that can help solve
social problems and create social change.
Topics at SIT conferences are developed into concrete projects through the discussions of participating social innovators. SIT’s recent projects included providing social enterprises with advice and training on personnel and legal issues. Another successful project produced an online accessibility map of 10 university campuses in Seoul, helping to increase mobility of disabled students.
